The Heart Easy Shells Hat is designed to complement Heart Easy Shells Baby Blanket. It uses the same stitch in the round. The blanket and the hat together make a lovely combination for newborn baby (yours or someone else’s).
I’ve made multiple versions of this hat using different yarns. For the first one, I used Baby Bee Sweet Delight yarn in the color Naked from Hobby Lobby and Hayfield Spirit DK in Sundown. The next one is Hobbii’s Amigo in white, and Hayfield Spirit DK in Melody. And the third one is Hobbii’s Amigo in light lilac and white. (A comparable yarn to Hayfield Spirit Sundown is Ice Yarns Magic Light 22034. They are nearly identical except Ice Yarns is 100% acrylic whereas Hayfield Spirit Sundown is 80% Acrylic/20% Wool.)
To make this hat, you can use the same yarns or 2 colors of any DK #3 weight yarn.

Use the yarn needle to sew the top closed, and weave in the end. Weave in the other remaining ends and enjoy the hat you just made 😊.

Different sizes? Pattern for that please? Thank you very much
Hello, the pattern can be adapted to whatever size you need so for a wider scarf, make more chains. For a longer scarf, make more rows. Thank you
