The Sweetheart Infinity Scarf was made using 1 skein of Lion Brand Basic Stitch Anti-Pilling yarn, but you can use any worsted weight #4 yarn to make this pattern.
FINISHED SIZE:
Approx. 6″ wide / 71″ circumference
GAUGE:
4″ = 7 sc,hdc stitches and 10 rows
Materials Needed:
185-200 yds of worsted weight #4 yarn
5.5 mm crochet hook
Yarn needle
Scissors
Stitch Markers (optional)
Abbreviations (US Terms):
ch = chain
sc = single crochet
slp st(s) = slip stitch(es)
st(s) = stitch(es)
SCARF PATTERN
Ch. 25 (or any even number +1)
Row 1: Sc in each st across. Ch. 1, turn. (24 sts.)
Row 2: *Skip 1 st, 1 sc and 1 dc in the next st,* repeat from * to * ending in the last st with a sc and dc., ch 1, turn.
Row 3: Repeat step 2 until desired length (for this scarf, I did 177 rows.
Slip stitch the ends together (or you can use whichever joining method you prefer).

When you only chain 25, how can you have 34 stitches at the end of Row 1???
