Hawthorne Crochet Scarf

A handmade scarf is a wonderful gift idea for the colder season. It’s also a great beginner project if you’re new to crochet. Scarves can be made using a variety of stitches. The herringbone half double crochet stitch is the main stitch used in the Hawthorne Crochet Scarf. For this project, I used Premier Yarns Anti-Pilling Everyday DK Merino Blend yarn. It’s been discontinued, but they have other yarns in their Anti-Pilling line that are great for this project. You can also use any DK weight yarn that you choose.
