BLANKET PATTERN
With color A, Ch. 110
Row 1: Sc in each st across, ch 2, turn. (109 sts)
Row 2: Dc in same st as ch 2, *skip 1 st, sc and dc in the next st*, repeat from * to * until last 2 st, sc in last st, ch 2, turn (109 sts)
Rows 3-5: Repeat row 2, on the final sc of row 5, change to color B, ch. 2 and turn.
Rows 6 and 7: With color B, repeat row 2, on the final sc of row 7, change back to yarn color A
Rows 8-13: Repeat rows 2 thru 7.
Rows 14-17: With color A, repeat rows 2 thru 5, on the final sc of row 17, change to color B.
Rows 18 – 33: With color B, Repeat rows 2 thru 17, (switch to color A where it says color B, and vice versa), on the final sc of row 33, change to color A
Rows 34 – 97: Repeat rows 1 thru 33, no color change at the end of row 33.
Final row 98: Continuing with color B, sc in each stitch st across, change to color A, ch. 2, turn
BORDER
Round 1: With color A, hdc in each stitch around, 3 hdc in the corners, end with a slp st in the first st of round 1, change to color B, ch. 3 with color B
Round 2: In the same direction, with color B, dc in each st around, end with a slp st in the first st of round 2, ch 3.
Round 3: In the same direction, alternate fpdc and bpdc in each st round, end with slp st in the first st of round 3, and fasten off.
Weave in all the ends.
Additional Notes: You can make it wider (or reduce the width) by making the starting chain longer (or shorter). The starting chain must be a multiple of 2 +1. To make it longer, continue the repeat until you reach the desired length and vice versa to make it shorter.
